Cybersecurity Resiliency For Defense Contractors – WA

With the Department of Defense (DoD) ramping up its focus on cybersecurity for the supply chain, manufacturers will need to prove compliance with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) to continue doing business with DoD. The CMMC, released in early 2020, is a tiered cybersecurity program required for all DoD contractors (both prime and subcontractors) and will build upon existing regulation in the DFARS 252.204-7012, adding audits to assure compliance with cybersecurity standards. This event is specifically designed to assist Washington State Manufactures with an overview of the CMMC and actionable steps your organization can take to comply with these standards to keep and win more defense business.

 What you will Learn:

  • Best practices in including cybersecurity as part of an overall risk management plan
  • Review of the 17-areas covered in CMMC - what each area covers and what you should be asking your IT staff, operational managers, and third-party vendors to assure compliance
  • Contractual and legal considerations in your cybersecurity program
